Are you a first-year university student looking to better manage the stress of academics and personal life? If you find yourself feeling worried or stuck, the monthly University Stress Support Group is a safe and confidential space to explore your experience and learn from people having similar experiences.

What is a Support Group?

When we are struggling, we can feel isolated and disconnected. A support group is a confidential space to explore your thoughts and feelings with people experiencing similar circumstances. It is not a replacement for psychological therapy.

Common benefits of support groups:

• Feeling less lonely, isolated, or judged

• Reduced stress

• Gaining a sense of empowerment and hope

• Improved skills to cope with challenges

• Building a support network

Who Should Attend:

Currently enrolled first-year university students who are experiencing university-related stress.
