An Evening of Remembrance: Understanding and Supporting Grief
Grief can feel difficult to express, and even more difficult to share with others who may not have experienced it. This evening is an invitation to come together as a community - to honor our loved ones, deepen our understanding of grief, and learn how to support ourselves and those we care about. We invite you to join us for an evening that explores the nature of grief, the founding of the Raymee Grief Center, and personal grief experiences shared through stories and supportive activities open to participation.
EVENING SCHEDULE:
- A Conversation on Grief: The story of the Raymee Grief Center
- Personal grief experiences and reflections shared
- A space for questions and reflections
- Community Rituals and Activities in a safe space
Who Is this Evening For:
- Those grieving the loss of a loved one
- Those supporting someone who is grieving
- Those anticipating a loss
- Anyone wishing to understand grief more deeply
We believe that no one has to grieve alone. If you, or someone you know, is grieving the death of a loved one, our doors and our hearts are open to you – regardless of when that loss occurred. Our grief consultations for individuals and our community support group services are Free-of-charge.
