What is it?

Have you ever driven somewhere and arrived at your destination only to realize that you remember nothing about your journey? This is a common example of mindlessness – we’re all so busy juggling work, family and life that we can easily lose awareness of the present moment.

Mindfulness teaches you to become more aware of what you are thinking and doing, and encourages you to use your five senses to enjoy the ‘here and now’. By being more present at home and work, you will make wiser choices and improve your quality of life.

Who needs it?

We all live in an over-stimulated world. A world where our minds are constantly planning, problem solving, hypothesizing, imagining, analyzing and reacting.
A world where our minds are in ‘doing’ mode.

Are you doing any of the following on a daily basis?

  • Predicting the future

  • Catastrophizing

  • Black and white/all-or-nothing thinking

  • Mind-reading

  • Disqualifying the positive

  • Assuming the worst

  • Over-generalizing

  • Not tolerating uncertainty

    Mindfulness can change these unhelpful patterns of thinking. By practicing mindfulness, you can spend more time in a ‘being’ mode of mind. You will become more responsive to life, rather than just reactive. You will also learn to focus a wandering mind on more positive thoughts.

  • Meditation 101: Learn to Meditate: a 1-hour workshop that includes a guided meditation practice with instructions on working with posture, breath, and thoughts. There is also be an opportunity to ask questions.

  • Healing Through Meditation: a 1-hour workshop that is ideal for those who are curious and interested in learning more about oneself through a self-healing meditation practice and integrating mind, body, and spirit to live to your fullest potential.

  • Guided Meditation: Healing Your Inner Child: an online guided meditation for understanding and healing your inner-child. Learn how connection with your inner-child is the gateway to long-lasting positive change, and working through present day blocks that get in the way of living a deeply meaningful and fulfilling life.

  • Balancing the Inner Aspects of the Feminine & Masculine: An introductory workshop to discovering and harmonizing one’s own Feminine and Masculine aspects, and learning how to embody the wisdom and power of the inner Feminine and Masculine in order to live a life that feels grounded, transformative and deeply fulfilled.
