Smart Heart Board Game 2.0 Debuts for Kids & Families

Designed to help develop emotional intelligence in children, the new Smart Heart Board Game launched at The LightHouse Arabia  in early 2021, bringing families together and helping children become more emotionally expressive through the power of play. 

Co-created by Dr. Saliha Afridi, clinical psychologist and Managing Director and Christine Kritzas, counseling psychologist and Education Director, the updated version of the widely embraced original carries the fun and learning forward for families everywhere.

What’s New?
The new edition of the game acknowledges and celebrates the diversity and cultural
sensibilities of the UAE population, the family and relational structures that are familiar to many, while taking into account the ever-growing population of Third Culture Kids (TCKs) in the UAE. The approachable and emotive character illustrations have been given a refresh, while question cards and topics remain current with the times.  

For those with the original SHBG and looking for new enhancements, supplemental
booster packs of playing cards (Talk Talk, Pic Tales and ‘I Feel…When…’), are now available, along with a Curious Conversations booklet - brimming with tools, practical strategies, and examples to help families deepen their conversations around feelings. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​
