I will hear you. I will learn about you, and all that has shaped you. I will walk alongside you on your journey. I believe that the most important part of therapy is getting to know the person as a whole, rather than solely focusing on the problem that restricts them from becoming their best selves.

I have always been drawn to understanding people; their stories, culture, values, norms, challenges, and the ways they adapt and heal. This curiosity led me into the field of psychology and mental health, where I’ve been able to combine my academic background with years of hands-on experience supporting individuals, children, families, and professionals in different cultural contexts. Today, I bring that same curiosity and compassion into my work with clients, not only to understand them, but to truly understand what has shaped them. By honoring these influences, I hope to create safe and supportive spaces where clients can explore what feels difficult, make sense of the patterns in their lives, and discover new possibilities for healing and growth.

My professional journey has taken me across humanitarian, educational, and community-based settings, from supporting victims of violence at the International Criminal Court, to serving as Senior Safeguarding Manager for GEMS Education, to guiding large-scale mental health and psychosocial support initiatives with the United Nations. Along the way, I’ve specialized in trauma-informed care, resilience- building, and culturally responsive approaches. I am particularly passionate about working with children and young people, as well as adults who are navigating life transitions or identity challenges. I also enjoy supporting caregivers and professionals who want to strengthen their capacity to support others. More broadly, I am drawn to people who are seeking to help and heal themselves, find themselves, support others, or adjust to new circumstances; clients who are ready to explore their own resilience and discover new ways of being.

I deeply believe that growth is possible in even the most difficult circumstances. For me, success is not about a “quick fix” but about helping my clients build confidence, restore balance, and reconnect with their strengths. It’s about seeing a teenager discover their voice, a parent feel supported in their role, an adult find new strength in the face of challenge, or a professional develop sustainable ways to care for themselves while caring for others.

In my practice, I strive to combine empathy with practical strategies. I draw on evidence-based approaches, while also honoring the unique cultural and personal stories each client carries. Ultimately, my goal is to walk alongside clients in their journey; listening deeply, reflecting honestly, and helping them shape pathways forward that feel both authentic and sustainable, while also contributing to the collective wellbeing of the communities, in which we are all a part of.
