Safa Sohail
Assistant Psychologist
Originally from Pakistan, I completed part of my early schooling in Bahrain, with the rest of my education in Dubai. I hold a BSc in Psychology from Heriot-Watt University and have completed internships at The LightHouse Arabia and HRIC. I’ve also worked as a research assistant at Heriot-Watt and Zayed University over a span of two years, and recently became a published researcher. I completed my Assistant Psychologist training at The British University in Dubai and am in the process of obtaining my CDA license.
What draws me most to this field is how dynamic and evolving it is as there is always something to learn. Working in psychology means growing alongside the individuals we support. It’s a mutual journey of discovery and change.
At The LightHouse Arabia, I am part of the Assessments team, and I also support client matching to help make the journey into mental health services easier and more accessible for each individual.
