Eidde Francke , M.A. (South Africa)
Clinical Psychologist
I am a Clinical Psychologist working with teens and adolescents ages 16+ years, adults, couples and families. As a fervent advocate for the suppleness of human capability, I believe that if we apply some creativity and grit, and we have a space where we receive genuine unconditional support - we can find wholesome and sustainable ways of living well. Curiosity, creativity (and often a good measure of humour!) have proven to be three crucial aspects in assisting clients finding growth and fulfillment.
I moved to Dubai in 2023 and was delighted to join The Lighthouse Arabia. I was born and raised in South Africa - I completed my Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Pretoria after completing my undergraduate studies at the University of Stellenbosch. In 2007, I founded and worked at two Private Practices in Johannesburg and Cape Town, and I've been fortunate to have been involved in multiple sectors of mental health services: Private, corporate, legal, non-profit and government settings. I've also been extensively involved with Anti-Human Trafficking organisations worldwide offering support to victims of Human Trafficking and supporting agents and roleplayers from organisations combating Human Trafficking. I've had the privilege of treating and assisting broad-spectrum challenges, conditions and experiences faced by persons in all stages and spaces of their lives.
My intervention style as a Clinical Psychologist is based on a hybrid-tailored approach that includes Interactional, Narrative, Psychodynamic and Integrative elements.
