Dr. Catherine Musa , PhD (France)
Clinical Psychologist
I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 25 years of experience working across hospital, academic, and private practice settings in France and the UAE. Throughout my career, I have been interested in how early relationships and life experiences, including trauma, influence emotional patterns, identity, and resilience. My work is grounded in an integrative approach, combining evidence-based therapies such as CBT, Schema Therapy, EMDR, and psychodynamic approaches, adapted to each individual.
I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, mood difficulties, trauma, personality- related challenges, and relational difficulties. I have a particular interest in more complex presentations, including emotional dysregulation, anxiety, and attachment-related difficulties. I have also authored a book on borderline personality disorder, reflecting my clinical interest in this area. I aim to offer a thoughtful and collaborative space that supports both deeper understanding and practical change.
For me, therapy involves both reducing symptoms and helping individuals develop a more coherent and compassionate relationship with themselves. This often includes increasing emotional awareness, building internal stability, and creating the conditions for more flexible and meaningful ways of living.
