How often do you check in with yourself?
Reflection enables us to learn from our experiences and to apply what we’ve learned to future experiences. It’s important to be honest with yourself, even when it’s difficult. The deeper you dig, the more you’ll learn – hopefully gaining a bit of wisdom that can help as we move forward. Consistency is key to gaining the full benefits of reflection. Try to reflect daily, even if only for a few minutes. Some ideas: Keep a reflection journal, exercise, meditate, spend time outside in nature.
