The soul is dyed the color of its thoughts. Think only on those things that are in line with your principles and can bear the light of day. The content of your character is your choice. - Heraclitus

One of the things that drives my passion to pursue a career as a psychologist is having the opportunity to support someone’s growth and healing by guiding them through self-discovery. This is founded by my belief that everyone is capable of growth and change once they have access to the right tools and support.

I have always aimed towards finding initiatives that help better the community at large. My experiences vary from working with university students as a peer supporter, working with a suicide hotline as a suicide prevention and emotional support operator, to working with non-governmental organizations that supported those in need. This is what inevitably brought me here.

As an assistant psychologist at The LightHouse Arabia, I am involved in many of the community outreach services, such as co-facilitating the Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) trainings and support groups. In addition to this, I support by liaising with clients for each of our services and managing the intake of clients by conducting screening calls for the eating disorder and assessment services, as well as grief consultation calls under the Raymee Grief Center. My goal through my work is to ensure that the clients are provided with the right guidance and support to the best of my ability.
