Farah Jahanzeb

Psychologist Assistant

Farah Jahanzeb

It is good to have an end to journey toward; but it is the journey that matters, in the end.

At the heart of my passion for psychology is the belief that therapy is embarking on a journey of self-reflection, insight and self-discovery. The role of a therapist is to guide and walk beside individuals on their journey of self-realization, by creating and developing meaning along the way.

I have experience working with adult populations in a research setting. One of my main areas of focus and knowledge is Neuropsychology, which revolves around the emotional, cognitive and behavioral underpinnings of neurological conditions.

The essence of my role at The LightHouse Arabia is to serve the community by being involved in initiatives including co-facilitating support groups and Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training, as well as supporting the Raymee Grief Center. As part of the Assessment Team, I assist with neuropsychological and psycho-educational assessments. My goal is to ensure that clients are met with compassion and receive optimal resources, in order to ensure quality of care.
