Just as we are learning how to manage anxiety, uncertainty and loss during this unprecedented time, so too are our children. In this seminar,  parents will gain an understanding of how children may view the COVID-19 situation, and learn practical tips for managing children’s fears and worries in these uncertain times. These workshops combine instruction, practice, and preparation for workplace application (e.g., Stress Management, Depression Management, Anxiety Management, Managing Difficult Emotions, Having Brave Conversations). These online workshops range from 90 minutes to 3 hours in length, and can be created and customized for your company’s needs.

ONLINE THERAPY

Appointments are 60-90 minutes in duration and are delivered by licensed psychologists. You will be sent a Zoom link and will consult with the psychologist in the comfort of your home. You can check with your insurance provider to see if therapy sessions can be claimed back through your medical insurance and we will provide you with the necessary forms.

ONLINE PSYCHIATRY

During times of COVID-19, our team of highly qualified, consultant psychiatrists are available for client appointments online. From troubles coping with the stresses and impact of present-day life to severe mental illnesses,  psychiatric consultations and medication management for teens and adults are available.  For medication management, prescriptions are sent online to a local pharmacy using an online system and can be collected from the pharmacy or be delivered to your home if that pharmacy has home-delivery service. You can check with your insurance provider to see if psychiatric appointments can be claimed back through your medical insurance and we will provide you with the necessary forms.

ONLINE EMOTIONAL WELLBEING CHECK-UP

A 30-minute online emotional checkup consultation with a psychologist. You will be sent our Mental Health Assessments prior to the appointment. After completing the assessments, you will be provided with feedback on risk factors that you should be aware of and recommendations to improve and safeguard your mental wellbeing.

ONLINE COVID-19 SUPPORT GROUPS AND OTHER SUPPORT GROUPS

An alternative vehicle of support for people in distress by linking people with similar issues. Support groups have the potential to improve the access and delivery of support to a wide range of people, including some who would not seek face-to-face support at all.
