DR. NIDA HUSSAIN, PsyD (USA)

Clinical Psychologist

I consider therapy as a collaborative process in which the patient takes an active role in determining the course of both therapy and ultimately their life track.

I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in individual therapy  (child-geriatrics), group therapy, family therapy, and psychological testing.

Having held positions in a variety of settings including psychiatric hospitals, medical clinics, a level 1 trauma center, and general hospitals, I utilize my experiences along with my knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Theory to help patients bridge the gap between physical and mental health, to optimize functioning on a day to day basis. As humans, we are comprised of many facets (physical, mental, personal, familial, work, intimate, etc), therefore I believe in looking at individuals as a whole to best address issues at their root. I consider therapy as a collaborative process, in which the patient takes an active role in determining the course of both therapy and ultimately their life track.
